So far 42 Tennessee counties have been declared eligible for Disaster
Unemployment Assistance (DUA) by the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA). This means people living in the designated counties who are not covered for regular
unemployment benefits whose source of income has been interrupted by the
disaster damage may qualify for disaster unemployment benefits, the declaration
includes self-employed workers. For specific counties included and how to apply

If you received any calls from people inquiring about flood clean-up
jobs, refer them to Flood Clean-Up Jobs on the TDLWD Web site:
http://www.tn.gov/labor-wfd/flood_jobs.html or their local Career Center. Do
not send those calls to Human Resources (some jobseekers are under the
impression these are state government jobs).
