The 41st IBEW Convention, held in San Diego, had delegates consider 22 proposed amendments to the IBEW Constitution and 61 resolutions. Some of the amendments and resolutions that were adopted:
- Pension increases. The pension was increased to $5.50/mo. X years of service for "A" members.
- Death benefit: Increased to $13,500 for an accidental death and $6750 for a natural death.
- Resolution 46 & 47: reiterated support for federal government workers and their right to collectively bargain.
- Resolution 33: To publish and make available official Spanish translations of foundational union documents.
In addition, Kenneth Cooper, who had been appointed to the position of IBEW President when Lonnie R. Stephenson retired in 2023, was elected as President for a 5 year term.
The next Convention will take place in Pittsburgh, PA in 2031.
