SELCAT will be hosting an EICA (Electrical Industry Certification Association) Crane
Certification Course October 5th through October 9th, 2026, at our facility in Newnan, GA. Registration is now open.
Spots are extremely limited, and it is a first come first serve basis. The certification is open to Journeymen, Groundmen,
Operators, and Apprentices (with at least 1 year experience operating cranes) who are employed with NECA Signatory Contractors
in the Southeast OR are a member of an IBEW Local in the Southeast. The deadline for registration is October 1st, 2026!! Or until the

The course will consist of an online prep course (to complete at home prior to the course), 3 days of classroom
instruction, Written Exam(s) and the practical exam(s). Lodging at the SELCAT facility will also be available
at no additional cost for individuals who are interested.
The total cost of the course is $400.00 (plus a non-refundable textbook charge of $249.69 for the prep course) and is
refundable after examinations to individuals who pass both the written and practical portions of the
course. If you do not pass both sections, the registration fee will not be refunded. Also, class BA union
members will NOT be refunded. If you schedule yourself for this class and no show (no contact by cut off date indicated
below) all monies paid are forfeited. We will work with you should you need to cancel. We will allow you to re-schedule one time. If
you do not show up for your re-scheduled class, all monies are forfeited!! If you need to cancel, you are required to do so by
September 28th, 2026 for us to work with you on re-scheduling.
The related assigned online bookwork must be completed before class begins on October 5, 2026!!
